You may have seen our recent post (which included a 10% discount code) about Formia Design’s adorable jewelry and keepsakes made from children’s artwork (like this perfect-for-Father’s-Day bottle opener). Well, the nice folks at the company sent me a pendant made from an owl my nephew created and all I can say is that I. Am. In. Love. Swedish designer and mom of two, Mia Van Beek, managed to capture all the little details that make it unique, including Andy’s signature (which she engraved on the back). At about the size of a quarter, the pendant is big enough see in all its glory but not so large that it runs the risk of looking costume-y. And because Van Beek is a stickler for quality, she only uses sterling silver and gold that is 14-karat or higher, so I have no doubt it will look as good as new for years to come.

Even if you aren’t ready to get something made now, follow Formia on Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter so when the time comes you’ll be able to find them quickly and easily.
