What to Wear
Comfy, stretchy, forgiving – words to define the perfect Thanksgiving outfit. Effortlessly stylish, is just a bonus this one day a year. The outfit above can be described as all the above.
A tunic with a long line and coordinating leggings are basics in any mom uniform, and the starting point in this outfit. Look for a tunic like the one pictured above, a “soft knit cut long for a relaxed yet trim silhouette that skims the body.” Choose minimalist jewelry to emphasize the line of the tunic or (if your tunic is a blank canvas like this one) opt for a detailed statement piece; just make sure it’s not a super long necklace. No point in choosing something you’ll have to fling over your shoulder to keep out of the gravy later. Combat-style boots are prefect for keeping your feet warm, indoors or out, and comfortable. An on-trend fringe purse completes the look. Heading outdoors? This outfit looks great with a cape, ruana or long cardigan.

Should you order from Emerald Cuff? Yes! With a background in garment design and production, I tend to be very scrutinous of craftsmanship. Loose threads, small stains, poor stitching, patterns not lining up; all cause to worry about a clothing item’s quality. The tunic I received is flawless. Plus, the fabric is astonishingly soft with excellent drape. The necklace is delicate and well-made. Often, you’ll see a great pendant with a cheap looking chain; not this one. I look forward to wearing both items this Thanksgiving!
